  •  I watch movies for their entertainment value, not to compare them with the original (if there was one). I enjoyed the remake of the Day the Earth stood still, and didn't go in to it thinking to compare it with the original. Alonso Duralde has "his" opinion of what he likes and I have mine.

  • 57 Dems in the Senate, 42 Rep. and 1 Ind. 5 Dems vote against this bill which means 52 VOTED FOR IT!! But yeah..... it was those 5 that voted against it that killed the bill. *rolls eyes*

  • If Bob's dad robs a bank when he is 2 years old and doesn't get caught, does that make it right for Bob to keep the money that his Dad stole when the police finally track his Dad down? I doubt there would be little discussion about it.

  • I like how some do the math on here. "It was the 5 Dems that voted this down that killed this Bill" Yeah..... especially when there are 57 Dems in the Senate. 5 voted it down so that means 52 of them voted FOR it, along with 3 Reps.

  • I work in a store that sells firearms. Background checks must be done on any type of firearm sold except flintlock or muzzleload. On handguns there is an extra form that must be completed and this is submitted to the State Police. It is an instant check over the phone with the federal government.
